Why Having a Recession Budget Does Not Mean Failure!

Many people believe that the only way you can make money online is by having money in the first place…. Wrong!

I will be honest and say it is challenging whether you have money or not to begin with, but you certainly do not need a large budget to begin with.

When I started all of my marketing was FREE, Articles and Video marketing were my main strategies. Nowadays I still do Articles and Video marketing. I have also added blogging and PPC to my skill list.

You see even though I also use PPC now, I don’t have a massive budget to use it. Basically you need to know how to use it right! So, being on a budget does not mean failure!

The point I want to make is you can work smart on a recession budget and still make money online. I found most of my success on a recession budget using MLM Lead System Pro (MLSP), Mike Dillards Building on a budget and Magnetic Sponsoring.

Not many people know this but in my humble beginnings I used to work on the counter in Walmart (Asda as we call it here in the UK). Since then I got sick of the minimal income, went to University (College I believe it is called in the US) and started on a modest graduate salary in the IT sector (it was a massive salary to me back then!).

Towards the later end of my working career (yeah, I know I am still only 32 at the time of this post) I became a successful IT contractor, working for some of the UKs top bluechip companies and a property investor part time earning a combined six figure income. Whilst this was great I am an entrepreneur at heart and the day job gobbled up all my free time.

I recently left the 9-5 contract work and now work from home in my home office. So I literally live off passive income from property investments made years ago part time and my home based business residual income. I achieved one of my major life goals.

The beauty of working online is my business never stops, while I was on holiday sunning with my beautiful girlfriend I could see sales coming in on autopilot. I can’t tell you how that feels!

Previously I had to take that time off, and as an IT contractor I was not paid for that time so a basic holiday cost me a lot in lost income because I was on a high daily rate.

This new lifestyle has allowed me time off when I want and I get to stay in some of the UKs top hotels, just a couple of weekends ago we met some close friends in London and we stayed in the Grovensner, Buckingham Palace Road - I kid you not! In the hotel they quote their standard double room rate is £280 ($439).

You may have also seen my You Tube video when I won a marketing prize and stayed at the Intercontinental (Go Check it out here!!). Let me let you in on a secret, I am financially free, but not silly…. Did you really think I paid $439! HELL NO, I can but I won’t!

I found a cheaper deal through a site in the UK called late rooms. Lol! I will be counting my pennies even when I am a millionaire in few years from now!
