What Is The Secret To get More Blog Traffic?…… Watch The Goonies!

What Is The Secret To get More Blog Traffic?…… Watch The Goonies!

I was reading one of my daily blogs the other dayThe Enlightended Networker by Ilka Flood. Ilka mentioned a term called “The Better Bunch”.

You know, I loved that term, not because I was was mentioned (even though, that is wonderful! - Thanks Ilka) It reminded me of the Goonies! Please Tell me you have watched that film?

This group of of average kids set out on an adventure for treasure. They were convinced that they will get to their destination and find what they truly desire.

On their way they face challenges, like I discussed yesterday (MLM Success Training) this will happen, but they worked around every issue and come back strong.

The thing I love is they worked hard and they get the gold and even Chunk meets a new friend along the way.

How To Get More Blog Traffic

This is the same mentality we need to get the results from our blogs.

If you build strong relationships with like minded individuals and integrate with your “better bunch” you can increase your success path and attract a lot more readers to your blog. Then what happens? More Tweets, more facebook shares, more social bookmarking. You show some love, and it will come back your way!

So, my suggestion is that you use methods such as social media and quality blog comments (the comment ninja (Josh Garcia)has a great post on this:  Do you want to know how to be generating free online traffic coming t you) To get involved in a good community and brand yourself in the process.

really need to get everything up and running (social media stuff)

    will RT this! ;)

    Great man,
    Shaqir Hussyin

  • Hey Wayne,

I meant to have been here already. Got derailed somewhere. I am so sorry!

Thank you for the mention! You're a sweetheart!

Like Josh says below, I would not have met you either had you not stopped by my blog one day. And what a shame that would have been.

It's so very important to hang with the right crowd ... or the "Better Bunch." You guys always push my limits and lift me up.

    So ... here's a BIG THANK YOU!!!

    Enjoy your weekend!

    Ilka

    P.S. I love the Goonies!!

  • HEY YOU GUYS,

I've watched the Goonies over 100 times without a doubt,
one of my favorites growing up. I love the fact that everyone
is starting to pick up on the "Better Bunch".
Been throwing it out there for about a month, I knew
it had to catch on, lol.

Just like the Goonies, the Better Bunch never say DIE!

    Have a great night,
    Tommy D.

  • Hey Wayne,

Classic movie! Great job bringing back my childhood memories from the 80's...

    Rocky, Goonies, A-Team (LOL)

I think a big appeal is those kids had a lot of heart and they all pulled for each other (sorta like the "Better Bunch")

Now I've gotta go read that post!

  • As a certified member of the Better Bunch, I have to say, I loved Ilka's post too. And not just because I was mentioned, but because it's cool to be recognized as part of a winning team.

The goonies is definitely a movie worth watching again. Thanks for reminding me of a lost classic. I keep thinking of the little kid with all the inventions saying, " that's what I said. I said that". know one ever knew what he was going to say next.

Twila I've never seen it either so you're not alone :)

I've been seeing a lot of traffic come via comments lately, still need to work on my "Josh The Ninja Garcia" skills though.... that man is fast....

    Have a great day,
    Matt

  • Hey Wayne,

Oh yeah, my husband loved that movie and has made sure that our boys watched it as well. haha

I was just telling someone about this the other day. I love being a part of this community. It's great to work together, and yet there are so many that are trying to do it all by themselves.

    Great post Wayne!
    Susanna

  • Good stuff Wayne.

That movie was awesome. I watched that movie so many times as a kid.

Building relationships with other success minded people is extremely important. Hey, I'm glad I'm here learning firsthand from you. Imagine if that didn't happen.

    Have a great one,
    Jerome Ratliff

  • I wonder why more people in the industry don't work together in groups. I mean sure an upline is willing to help their downline, but if you have complementing strengths, does it really matter what company you are both in? I don't think so, because the ground you can cover is a lot more than you could flying it solo.

    Eric McMillan

  • Good point there Eric, it should definitely be more pushed by uplines all over.

Thanks for passing by my friend.

  • I've never watched The Goonies. The analogy from what you have described is true. It's about finding like-minded people and growing together. We all have our unique talents to share with others.

    Have a good one!
    Twila

  • Oh Twila, you gotta watch it (ha)!

The main thing is you picked up the analogy! :)

Thanks for passing by my friend.

  • HEY YOU GUYS!!

I remember that film - classic childhood film love it.

Good tie in to "The Better Bunch" which was a great post by Ilka.

Relationships is King in this industry. In fact in any industry

  • "Hey You Guys!" Lol!! Yeah, I loved that too Dwayne....

  • Hey Wayne,

I love that name 'The Better Bunch'. It reminds me of a show that I watched when I was a kid called 'The Brady Bunch'.

The great part about this you build a relationship with other people. If you didn't comment on my blog. I would have never known who you were if you just read and left. Thanks for the mentioned!

    Chat with you later...
    Josh

  • Hey no worries buddy, you deserve the mention! :)

And, yeah I guess our affiliation is living proof of the importance of networking with fellow bloggers!
