Yesterday I looked at Viral Marketing Techniques, today I am going to break down what I believe to be the right social marketing theory. On top of that, I am also going to explain 2 ways to make good use of it in your business.

OK, so what is the right social marketing theory? Well it is communicating with a wide audience of like minded individuals. It is a very clever way to get down to a ground level with your prospects. It is very different to the standard way of marketing. The reason is it allows you to not just advertise, but actually connect with your target audience.

So, how do you use it to your advantage? Great question, here are 2 ways:

1) Lead With Value: Firstly, if this medium is used the right way people will be attracted to you. Basically, people are looking for a solution to their problems and if you have the information you will be in demand.

If you can display your value to people, they will see that you can truly help them. What better place to display your worth than in a social networking environment?

2) Have a Proven System in Place: It is great to add value and get attention. But that is not all that you need. You have to have a plan for the attention that you attract.

A blog is a perfect way to harness that interest, which is more commenly known as traffic. Once you have your visitors you can monetize them in many different ways. All you need to do now is go out there and add massive value!
