I am going to lay out 3 reasons why you should be using the Twitter marketing strategy as an essential part of your social network marketing strategy. I am sure by now you have heard many people talk about how powerful Twitter is and how it is a great tool to use.

But why is that? In all honesty it took me a little while to really see the value of a Twitter marketing strategy. Don’t get me wrong, in my opinion, it should be “part” of your blog marketing strategy. I am sure there are many Twitter gurus out there that know how to use it inside and out, but I see it as a useful addition to your overall marketing onslaught. Think of it as a social media platform as well as a clever free advertising tool.

Here are my reasons why I recommend a Twitter marketing strategy:

1) Part of Blog Marketing Strategy: As I mentioned, in my opinion, it should compliment your overall blog marketing strategy. So what do I mean by that? Well you can use it to drive some serious traffic. If you have been asking yourself - “How Do I Get More Traffic to My Web Site? Then pay close attention here. If you build a large amount of followers it is an extension to your “list”. And guess what? You can leverage that list to increase your blog traffic. So, it is a powerful blog marketing strategy.

2) Remember We Need To Network! If you are serious about generating home based business leads you need to network with the right prospects. So a good social network marketing strategy is essential. Twitter and facebook have some great advantages that you can make use of.

However you must use Twitter advertising in the right way. Never spam your followers with blatant sales pitches about your business or opportunity. Instead, as I always say, provide them with value. Give them some useful Twitter marketing tips or something your niche will appreciate. They will then be more responsive to you.

3) Powerful Branding: One of your objectives online should be building your brand. For you to be successful and develop a good brand, you need to be seen in many places. As Twitter is a very popular social media hang out you need to have a presence there. So make sure you don’t miss that free opportunity to grow your brand.
