The 2 Missing Ingredients for Success…

If you have the desire to succeed online there are two ingredients that you may be missing. I know this because I personally had the same problems.

So, what are the missing “ingredients for success”?

ingredients for success

ingredients for success

Well when I tell you, they will seem very obvious, but I am sure that for every 10 people that read this blog post, there will be at least 6 of you that will be lacking in it. Don’t beat yourself up about it, we all have to identify our areas for improvement and make some changes. That cycle will never stop.

Missing ingredients for success - The First Ingredient: Focus

This is harder harder than you may think. The internet is a constant barrage of information, hitting you at all angles. There are some many tips, home based business leads generation techniques, webinars, etc - The average newbie does not know where to “focus” their time.

My advice to you in this situation is, try out a few methods to begin with. Then chose one that you feel most comfortable with, and stick with it until you get the results you want from it.

Missing ingredients for success - The Second Ingredient: Consistency

This is the one that used to get me the most. I would be doing well with a new technique, then BAM a new lead generation technique comes along that takes my fancy. Then I would drop all the hard work and start a fresh on the new fad.

As much as it may seem boring at times, you have to stay “consistent” with your plan. Even if the progress is slow, as long as you have an end goal, stick with it. When you get to the end goal it will make you feel good about yourself.

Have you ever Missed any of these ingredients of success in your life?

  • Hey Wayne, I like what you can explain with the two words here...

Obtain success through consistent focus, or...you have to focus consistently to be successful. How well these two factors work together is a true testament to how true your article rings out.

    Great post Wayne

  • Howdy Wayne,

Staying focused on the "right" tasks can provide good positive results. Putting their wholehearted effort into what they do has a lot to say about itself.

Consistency is one area easy to forget if NOT focused. So, it's a good thing to remain focused and be so consistent in everything you do.

    GREAT post Wayne.

  • Hi Wayne,

These 2 ingredients are simple, but very powerful!

I'm like you, I get excited to conquer new tasks -- but that can be a good thing, as long as you stick to doing the original tasks well.

For example, I've done pretty well using Facebook to generate free leads...

I'm going to continue my efforts there and now I'm setting out to conquer pay-per-click!

  • Hey Derek,

Good on ya buddy, nice to know you stuck with one thing and mastered it.

Thanks for passing by my friend.

  • Hey Wayne,

That is great that you are covering these two components. Without focus, you'll be spraying all over the place. You don't get to accomplish anything when you're not laser focus.

Now consistency is vital. It is to easy to get distracted with the latest gadget when someone hasn't even master the basics.

    Chat with you later...

  • Spot on there Josh.

You need to have "staying power"...

    Thanks for passing by

  • Wayne,
You got this one right on! I can't tell you how many times I've been distracted by the noise on the interweb and it is definitely a killer of productivity. Consistency is key to any type of marketing whether it be online or off. You can't do something for a week and call it a failure if leads aren't flying in.

    Great post,

  • Hey Eric,

For sure, it is hard. I am a guy that loves to work on a "new project" and get excited - however "seeing" out the old project is the route to the success!

    Thanks for passing by.

  • Hi Wayne,

Dead on post. Until very recently I've been consistently losing my focus. So many new skills to learn and master.

I just had to turn the two around and focus on my consistency instead.

    Neat little Catch 22.

    Michael

  • Hey Michael,

Welcome, and thanks for passing by.

I hear ya my friend, the main thing is you identified it and now you can conquer it!

  • Hey Wayne

Focus is a massive aid to the bigger plan. Staying focused will bring great results to a person business.

Consistency is an essential ingredient. If you don't keep doing what your doing you will never see results.
