Still No MLM Leads Free! “Gonna Go Crazy” - On Page 1 and Nothing, Why?

Still No MLM Leads Free!

Still No MLM Leads Free!

Have you ever had this feeling or thought running through your mind? You know, you spend some quality time ranking a piece of content to generate MLM leads for free, as you have been told is “easy” - Then you finally get something on page one of the search results, then……

NADA! No MLM Leads Free - Zilch….. Why The Heck Is It?

I will be honest, this is something that used to annoy me big time, however I did learn a few things along the way that may help you to get targeted mlm leads and traffic and understand why your good work is not coming to fruition.

First Thing To Check - Search Volume…

Whilst it may have looked like the keyword was super targeted and potential to give you MLM leads free all day and long, did it actually have any search volume?

As simple as this may sound, I hear it a lot - “I have 3 spots on page one - amazing” - Well, yeah but nobody is searching for it, so all the best!

Your Actual Search position - Big Difference Between Top 3 and “The Rest”….

Contrary to some peoples belief, page one listings is not always enough. Did you know that Position 1 gets approximately 40% of the traffic? Yeah, the lions share!

Basically, anything less than position 3 will give you a lot less traffic, so the reason why you may not be getting MLM leads free from page one is you are in a low position and your competitors are chewing up the traffic like a hungry dog!

Is Your Title and Description Sexy Enough?

Another little clanger is actually getting a top 3 slot of a reasonably searched term and still not getting any traffic and MLM leads free. This could because you done all the hard work and followed your on page SEO checklist but didn’t make your title eye catching or description just isn’t sexy enough!

  • I believe there are several factors involved that make or break you. Search Volume, competition, competing pages and when you do land on page one, your copywriting comes into play.

    Great Post Wayne
  • Totally feel you one this one, I got all excited with the first keyword I landed on the first page.... only to find it looked almost exactly the same as all the others!

    Isn't that interesting haha.

  • Hey Wayne,

Thanks again for the great SEO tips. There's more to keyword research than meets the eye. Search trends also tell a lot about search volume too. You've gotta decide if it's worth ranking for a keyword that is headed downward in terms of volume.

  • Hey Wayne,
The other thing to pay close attention to is the number of competing pages. You could have some really high SV, but if you are competing against 9million pages, then you are going to have a heck of a time even sniffing the first 10 pages, let alone the first spot.

  • Hey Wayne,

Great point. If you are targeting keywords that are low in search volume, then you can't expect to get very many leads.

It just shows, people can easily get to page 1, but how relevant is it?

    Have a good one,

  • Hey Wayne,

This is a good point. When doing those keyword search are most individuals looking at the low level search terms or are they looking at the competitive key terms.

Just because some one is showing up on page 1 of the search engine it doesn't mean it's going to get click. You must have a compelling Title and Description.
