Following on from yesterdays post on list building techniques I wanted to explain some squeeze page tricks that can be used for your MLM Lead Capture Pages.

As you may know already, the opt-in rate of your lead capture pages are significantly influenced by what you say and display on your squeeze page.

Just In Case You Do Not Know - What Is A Squeeze Page?

Basically it is a very simple web page that has only one purpose, and that is to collect a home based business lead. The reason it is called a squeeze page, is because it quite literally does that - it squeezes information from your prospect.

I know, it sounds a bit bad - But hey, I didn’t make up the rules! (ha)

How Do You Make MLM Lead Capture Pages That Convert?

Well, in all honesty there is no “one size fits all” method to this process. Simply because every niche has different requirements. What works like gang busters for one audience can be a flop for others, are you with me?

So, how do know how to create good lead capture pages? Well, you have to test the conversion of the page by split testing. However before I get into testing, let me give you some guidelines when you are creating your lead capture pages:

• A Killer Headline
• List The Benefits of Your Prospect Joining Your List. Ideally bullet points
• An Irresistible Offer
• Give The re-assurance That You Will Handle Their Data Ethically

A Killer Headline

This is probably the most important part, it is what people make their instant decision on, whether they should stay and read or click the “back” button. You have to make it really eye catching and make sure it speaks to your niche.

List The Benefits of Your Prospect Joining Your List. Ideally bullet points

Basically, if you done your research right, you should have a list of things that your niche want or need. A list of problems that are common. This is where you can use these points to entice your prospect to become a lead. Display them in bullet form on the page to make them want to opt In.

An Irresistible Offer

Make Sure That you give your prospect a very good reason why they should opt into your lead capture pages. Remember, these days people are bombarded with email and they need a good reason to join your list.

Give The re-assurance That You Will Handle Their Data Ethically

The final thing that I want to share with you, is giving re-assurane that you will handle their data ethically. You need to have a clear statement that makes people understand that you will not misuse their data.

Testing and Tracking

Whatever MLM lead capture pages you create, you will never know if it is succesful or not if you do not have a method for tracking. I use MLSP for my mlm lead capture pages. You can also use Prosper202 or Tracking 202, they are both free but you need to get your hands dirty. Honestly, whatever you do, do not take too long coming up with a master piece, I have found that very simple squeeze pages work very well and have high conversion rates. Just get em up and test an improve.
