New MLM Plan Nightmares | Are The MLM Dream Stealers After You?

Are The MLM Dream Stealers After Your New MLM Plan?

Are The MLM Dream Stealers Attacking Your New MLM Plan?

Are The MLM Dream Stealers Attacking Your New MLM Plan?

A friend of mine is currently involved in network marketing, like myself - I will call him Bob today as I am not sure if he is happy for me to reveal his name.

Bob is a great guy, and I am sure if you met him, you would agree. The thing I like about bob is the fact that he has a great new MLM plan to conquer the industry.

Before you think Bob is some internet whizz kid getting 100 leads a day, he is not!

In fact, Bob does not even know the first thing about home based business leads generation online. He knows I will help him, but he is an “offline guy”.

Bob Has Recently been attacked by the Scary MLM Dream Stealers….

The problem that Bob faces to his new MLM plan is those dreaded MLM dream stealers! Every time he goes home from his day job and works on his new MLM plan, his partner asks: “How much money have you made this month?” - She has a tendency to look at him with a patronizing smirk, which hacks away at his confidence levels each time, almost hoping to cut him down like a lonely tree in the forest.

So, I asked Bob - How are you dealing with these Annoying Comments?

I must admit, I expected Bob to tell me that he was quitting his new MLM plan and sticking to the day job. However I was surprised by his response…

“I Am More Motivated Today Than Ever Before!…..”

I was like…… “Really”?….. I looked him in the eye and I know this dude was FIRED UP! He actually took the negativity from his partner and used it as motivation to get more results.

I have to take my hat off to him, I know it takes a strong character to overcome the negativity that gets thrown at you when you attempt something “different”.

My point in sharing this story with you today is this, whatever happens, do not let the MLM dream stealers take your potential MLM success away from you.

  • Hey Wayne,

I like this one. I always advise people to get negative people out of their life. But what do you do if it's your spouse? I think it is important to not let anyone kill your dreams. If they are not supportive, then that part of your life is just something you guys don't talk about. The thing the unsupportive spouse needs to realize is that determined people don't quit. And they will stay clear of negativity. It can greatly stress a marriage to be unsupportive. You simply become unattractive to be around.

    Great Post Wayne
  • Oh man I can relate to this!

Dream stealers are often people close to us which makes it hard to take.

But you know what, its just part of the journey.

Keep your head up and keep working, the only person who can truly steal your dreams is yourself

  • Hey Wayne,

This is a really important post because everybody will get challenged at some point in their business.

I learned an ingenious reply (from Big Al) to the objection: "How much have you made this month?" It goes... "I don't know, I haven't finished counting the money yet..." Pretty good hey?

    Wayne
  • Mindset is one of the most critical aspects of business. The right one and you can do anything, the wrong one and you will might as well have quit before you got started.

    Thanks,
    Eric
  • Oh for sure, mindset plays a part in so many things.

    Thanks Eric.
  • Hi Wayne,

I'm glad your friend "Bob" is not letting the negativity get him down.

Our own attitudes are the only thing that can stop us.
  • Yeah, our own attitudes is the difference between failure and success.

    Cheers Derek.
  • Hey Wayne,

This is a simple post you wrote today, but so powerful! Thanks for reminding me of what individuals go through when they want to do something and everyone else is against them. When your dream is big enough, nothing matters! You are going to conquer it!!!

One of the most important factors here is to make sure you work on yourself to be prepared from a Dream Stealer.

    Chat with you later...

  • Well said, preperation from these dream stealers is key.

    Thanks for passing by buddy.
  • Hi Wayne,

Sensational advice. Either use negativity for fuel or ignore it. Negative people create their own private little hell which I tend to avoid. I usually let them go down on their own ship without hopping on board.

  • I love that way of thinking their Ryan.

    Thanks for passing by.
  • Good on Bob.

A great attitude towards his future. I am sure he will succeed.

Using a negative as motivation is a good way to overcome obstacles and push on in life
  • Yeah I agree Dwayne

The best way in fact :)

Wayne it's a tough one and all the more reason why you have to work on yourself to become as strong as you can. Then you can stand tall when the men and women in balaclavas who lurk in the shadows waiting to steal your dreams appear as they will!

  • Yeah, well said.

Fortunately I have a very supportive family, but I understand it is hard and admire Bob's story.
  • Oh my goodness Wayne, I can relate to Bob's story. My eyes were big as I read it, especially when you got to his reaction to the negativity.

My husband isn't usually very nice about my business. Actually over dinner tonight this exact topic came up. He hates hearing me even mention anything related to "work". No matter what aspect. He can't stand me working when he's home.

One day (and he told me I'd never hear him admit this again) he told me that he was afraid to see me succeed. But at the same time, he wants to see it happen just as bad. So he's torn, and doesn't really know what to do with it all.

I can allow his harsh words and attitude to discourage me. Or I can use it to drive me to prove that I can do this. The choice is mine, I won't give that choice away. I won't allow anyone to steal my dreams. ;)

Thanks for sharing this story of your friend Wayne. I really appreciated this tonight.

  • Hey Susanna,

Wow, I am impressed with your strength! I can relate to this from my buddy Bob, he never lets his head drop.

    Never give up my friend!
