MLM Recruiting Secrets - Why Your Prospects Could Not Give A Stuff About Your Primary!

On my travels to find MLM recruiting secrets in Internet land I come across many different methods of marketing home based businesses. The thing that I see a lot of, is something that a lot of people either do not get, or do not care about.

What Are They Doing?

In my opinion, the biggest mistake is to lead with your primary business in the blind hope that someone will get so taken in by your sexy compensation plan, or last years company turnover, etc - they will join you.

The simple fact is, that is not likely to happen. To be frank and honest - Your prospects do not give a stuff about your primary business “until” they know who YOU are, are you with me?

When a new prospect is recruited and they make the mistake of spamming the internet with generic biz op copy, people simply run a mile!

Einstein Said: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”

As you may know already, The great Einstein stated that: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”, so if you are not getting results by leading with your business here are some MLM recruiting secrets to help you make some changes:

  • Brand yourself first
  • Illustrate what you have to offer your prospects with “Value”
  • Wait Until you are asked about your Primary before Pushing it On Your Prospects

This is just a few points to help get you on track and start to see some results.

Have you got any more useful Tips?

  • Nice post, Wayne. I see so many people on Facebook doing this every day, promoting the "next greatest program" that only costs you $25 to join and you'll get $6 million in your bank account by next week.

And everyone of them looks just like a spam email they deleted from their own inbox not 5 minutes before they made that post.

Some will get it, some won't. That's the unfortunate part of this business. But for those that are willing to learn...

Just you wait. There's big things up ahead for you!

  • Hey Wayne,
I love that Einstein picture! Lots of people still don't get it. They think people give two it-shs about the comp plan or product. People join people not your vitamin product.

  • Nicely put Wayne

I am all for trying again and again and again with the idea to improve on the last time I tried. I don't understand people who try, fail then try the same thing over and over again. Weird

You have definitely branded yourself. I see your stuff everywhere.

  • Good post, Wayne!

I think something a lot of people don't think about is:

"What happens if I decide to switch companies, the company goes under, etc.?"

Well, if you're promoting your business, instead of yourself -- you now have all kinds of info all over the Internet that's promoting your old company!

  • That is a very good point there Derek. You would almost have to start from scratch again!

    Thanks for passing by.

  • I love hearing that word, "Secret".

But to your point, this is one topic not all network marketers do agree with. I guess it depends on what their stance is on how to build a business.

Now, I'm all for this model of branding you first. It's in your advantage too because whatever business you're involved with, people will be more drawn to you than your network marketing business you decided to join.

    Have a good Tuesday Wayne.

  • Hey Jerome, I am with you on that - get the attraction on yourself rather than your primary.

    Thanks for passing by.

  • Hey Wayne,

Great post, Einstein also said "Weakness of attitude becomes weakness of character". Attitude has so much to do with success in business.

Either your attitude is to do what you feel the prospect wants, or to push what you want. Prospects pick up on these attitudes quickly, and it WILL make or break you.

Thanks for more great information Wayne.

  • Another great quote there Chris. Thanks for mentioning that one my friend.

  • Hey Wayne,

There are some that will never understand this concept. And there are some that will, watch what happens next...their business will grow!

    Chat with you later...

  • Thats right Josh, I guess that is the way the world works.... As Jim Rohn said "Don't sign up for that class"....
