Is Donald Trump in MLM A Good Thing For Your Business or Not?

This could be seen as controversial but I am going to discuss it regardless. So as a marketer Is Donald Trump in MLM a bonus or a hindrance?

Obviously I can only really give my own humble opinion. I am sure you will formulate your own thoughts on the matter. My intention is to look at a couple of points to evaluate this question. Finally I will conclude with my verdict.

1) The Stigma Attached to MLM: It does not matter how hard we try to sweep it under the carpet there is a stigma attached to MLM. Unfortunately it has been around for many years lingering like a bad smell. However I have noticed things are changing for the better.

I think there are a combination of reasons for this. The current global recession has definitely had an affect< the public are now more open to new cost effective business models. Lets face it if your in financial difficulty you have to look at every possible option without prejudice.

Another massive shift, in my opinion has been a product of the open acceptance of MLM by business icons such as Robert Kiyosaki and Donald Trump. No one can deny that is a very big endorsement for MLM.

2) Industry Branding: By now we should all know that branding works. Anyone that has or intends to have a successful business they must know and understand this. So now that Donald Trump has affiliated his self with MLM this has added a very noticeable brand to the industry.

You may or may not know the detail about Donald Trump and his MLM opportunity. To be honest neither do I because I am not involved in his MLM company. The point is his addition has made our businesses a whole lot better and easier to convert MLM prospects.
