Want To Pull Your Hair Out?

Forget doing that! Take a break, sit back and let me give you my top 6 MLM marketing secrets. They are very simple, but are what I believe are key to your success. If you want to become a master at home based business lead generation or MLM team building you need to absorb these MLM Training Secrets:

1 - Never Pitch Your Primary On The Front End

What does this mean? Simple, throw out the rule book you were given from your old school up-line leader. They have more than likely told you to pitch your business to everything that moves to play the “numbers” game.

While this actually does work, it is not the most efficient way of doing things, why? Because you repel more people than you attract. The more you can attract is the more easier your job is to convert them into long term business partners and friends. This is achieved with attraction marketing, which many of us have been hammering home for ages.

2 - Don’t Be An MLM Freak!

MLM Selling

MLM Selling

A few weeks back I introduced you to my friend above, he is the metaphorical MLM Freak! Do not turn into this guy. What do I mean, well when you get a sec read the blog post here (MLM Selling? - Meet The MLM FreakĀ  - CLICK HERE!), just don’t be this guy!

3 - Give Immense Value As If You Are Charging

When you create content, imagine that you are creating a paid product. That way you will over deliver to your readers. The more value you give for free is the more will come back to you (this is a concept I spoke about yesterday in this post: Blog Tips and Tricks For Beginners - Why Are Some Blogs Interesting Blogs To Read). So never have the attitude that you will just throw this piece of garbage out there because its free anyway.

4 - Keep It Simple

The best policy is to keep it simple, Chris Owen done a great post on this recently: Kissing Einstien a Simple Copywriting Strategy by Chris Owen - Bottom line, If you have to think too hard about it, you have over complicated it. I know this because I am a victim of this. I always think of a harder way to do a simple task. So I have learned to make life easier fro myself.

5 - Build Strong Relationships

You have probably seen me mention this quite a few times, The reason is it is more powerful than you may think. Make sure you leverage your hard work with a like minded group of people to move along a lot faster.

6 - Never Give Up!

Last, but not least - never give up. I know it can be hard seeing any results at first. I see this as the “filtering process”. The weak give up in 30 - 60 days and leave the rest of the market for the die harders! Make sure you are not a part of the weak team!

  • Hey Wayne,

I love the pic of the old man.

That is what happens when you are constantly trying to pitch your opportunity to the wrong audience. You'll like him in a couple of month. Here is a prevention...listen to what Wayne just said.

    Chat with you later...

  • Hey Wayne,

I swear I am going to write a post as a tribute to the king of blog pics. I think I will do it tonight. Be looking for it tomorrow. I don't know where you find this stuff.

The advise you give here is top value my friend. I especially liked the advice, "give immense value as if you are charging."

  • Strong relationships is the hidden key to success. The more (strong) relationships you build the more you will learn.

Extra knowledge and the application of it can make the difference between getting by and massive success.

  • Hi Wayne,

The pics had me smiling before I even read it.

Very cool tips. They help along the way, and number 6 is a must.

You know, even old school marketers teach that one. It's significant enough that on, or off line, it's an important tip. No matter what never quit.

Look at us, most of us are here because it wasn't working, or we didn't like, the old school way of network marketing. But the key was we didn't give up. We just found a better way.

    Great post!

That image of the MLM freak cracks me up,

I think everyone should read this post, you should of called it "6 steps to mlm success without acting like a moron"

    Thanks,
    Matt

  • Hey Wayne,

Yes, we do have a great name!

My favourite is #4. Keep it simple. A leader who can make things simple will see his/her team multiply.

Referring back to Einstein. Obviously he was one of the most brilliantly minded people ever, but what is he most famous for? E = mc2 !! Here was someone who knew how to K.I.S.S.

    Take care,

    Wayne

  • Hey Wayne,

These are some great tips -- they're like your "greatest hits"!

Well, keep 'em coming man... pretty soon here you'll be like Motown (LOL)

  • I remember a while back some upline would say, "your prospect is anyone who can fog up a mirror." ILL!

What a change it has been!

It's about targeting with value. All six of these are great to run a network marketing business by. I highly endorse all of these.

    Have a good weekend,
    Jerome Ratliff

  • (ha) basically prospect every man and his dog! I am glad that approach has changed, well for some people.

You have a great weekend too Jerome, thanks.

  • I laugh every time I look back on those exact words. Hilarious!

  • Man I don't think I could afford to pull my hair out with as fast as it's already falling out so I need to pay attention here!

Not giving up is a huge deal in this business. I always tell people that they have to get across the ocean and burn their boat. Meaning there is no turning back, because if they have a fall back, they feel a sense of security and they can fail with little or no pain.

    See ya,
    Eric

  • Eric,

I like your philosophy it is all too easy to try a half-hearted attempt at success when you have a good back up plan.

  • Hey Wayne,

Good tips here. My favorite is #6! You can never give up in your business. Just think that when you feel like giving up, you may be just around the corner from something that will bring you massive success!

    Talk soon,

    Mike

  • Hey Mike,

Agreed, that could be a big mistake to make!
