Hey, wassup?

I have decided to do a quick post for those people that want to focus on Article Marketing. To be honest there is no real article marketing secrets per say, but one thing that you really want to do is get Platinum status on the number one article directory, yep that’s right, Ezine Articles.

A few people have asked my how I got to platinum status? and also what is the benefit of it? Both are good questions.

Firstly I will tackle the benefits:

1) Super Fast Article Reviews: Forget about waiting up to 7 days for article approvals. I am experiencing approvals as fast as 3 hours!!

Now, I am not suggesting that happens every time, but I can assure you it will be a hell of a lot faster than when you are basic or basic plus.

2) Unlimited submissions: If you are anything like me, you will be cracking off articles, left right and center. Now that is cool, but if you hit your limit you have to wait until you are issued with more. You may say, I will just submit somewhere else, yes that is an option. But have you seen how much traffic you can get just from Ezine Articles itself? Trust me, you need it.

Right, How do you get to platinum?

Make sure that you follow their policy to the letter! I know it can be frustrating, but after a while you get the hang of it. I do not want to patronize you, but make your first submissions squeaky clean. Here are a couple of pointers:

1) Spell and Grammar Check like a mad man! Yes, I know it is basic, but if you are knocking out 3-5 articles a day it is easy to over look it. Use their in built spelling checker, that way you know they are happy with your spelling. I know from experience that it helps. For example, being based in the UK we spell some words differently.

You know what I mean for example, we spell “socialize” like this “socialise”, and you do not want to get your wrist smacked for that.

2) No Affiliate Links: Before you even think of it, do not even bother putting a cheeky affiliate link in the article. It will get booted straight out. Keep it clean and get the platinum.
